Six armed robbers dressed in female clothes, gang -rape two sisters in a in Batsonaa after robbing a household of valuable items, including laptops and mobile phones.
The ladies who are aged 20 and 22 were raped in turns in the full glare of their father, who also sustained serious wounds in attack.
This incidence happened after five boys who were sleeping in the boys' quarters had been locked up.
Narrating the story to Daily Graphic, the victim on his sick bed said, the robbers attacked them when they were about to go to bed.
He said the robbers, who made away an amount of GHC 500, attacked and locked the five boys before enforcing them to open the main door.
He said he struggled with the robbers after realizing that they had no bullet in the gun they were having. However, the robbers were able to overpower him after they got hold of a shovel in the compound which they used in wounding him.
According to one of the victims, in order to save his head and face from multiple wounds, he used his hands to shield his head but the robbers used the shovel to hit his legs.
His two daughters were raped after inflicting multiples wounds on him but the third daughter was spared because she fainted after she emerging from the bedroom to see her father in a pool of blood.
Soldiers rushed there for their safety but they got there when the robbers had gone.
They were rushed to Sakumono Community Hospital for treatment but later referred to 37 Military Hospital for further treatment.
Community 18 Police is investigating this incident.
